My Simple Approach to Everyday Style

Getting dressed used to feel harder than it needed to be. I had plenty of clothes in my closet, but most mornings I stood there feeling frustrated, rushed, and unsure of what to wear. Nothing felt quite right, and I rarely felt confident in what I put on.

Over time, I realized the problem wasn’t that I needed more clothes — it was that I needed simpler choices.

One of the things that helped me simplify was learning how to build outfits around pieces that actually work together. Using a capsule-style approach made getting dressed easier and took a lot of guesswork out of my mornings. Part of that was finding Frump Fighters.

I started paying attention to what I actually reached for. The pieces I loved most were the ones that were:

  • comfortable
  • easy to mix and match
  • wearable for real life
  • and still made me feel put together

That shift alone made a big difference. Instead of trying to follow trends or recreate outfits I saw online, I focused on building outfits that worked for my everyday life — school drop-offs, errands, workdays, and family time.

I found myself gravitating toward neutral basics, soft layers, and pieces that could be worn more than one way. When things go together easily, getting dressed becomes less stressful and more enjoyable.

For me, style now means:

✨ wearing things I genuinely feel good in
✨ choosing comfort without giving up confidence
✨ creating outfits that match my real life, not a fantasy version of it

I don’t believe style has to be complicated or expensive. It doesn’t have to mean chasing every new trend or constantly shopping for something better. Instead, it can be about learning what works for your body, your lifestyle, and your season of life.

My goal here is to share everyday outfits and simple wardrobe ideas that make getting dressed feel easier and less overwhelming. I want this space to be a reminder that you don’t have to overhaul your entire closet to feel better — you just need a few pieces that truly work for you.

If you’re trying to simplify your style too, you’re in the right place. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more of what’s helped me along the way.
